Hmm, I'm also suddenly experiencing printing problems with 7.0x and 8. According to the error dialog it seems to be related to file xxpsrtd.dll which resides at C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3. Tried numerous uninstalls and clean mode installs without success. Tried a variety of pdf files as well. Finally, ran some tests using different network printers and discovered that so far the problem is peculiar to the Xerox DC 430 PS v20060504. Printing to this printer using Print As Image works OK. However, attempts to access the Properties for this printer through the Acrobat Print dialog generates an error dialog "Function address 0x1 caused a protection fault. (exception code 0xc0000005) Some or all property page(s) may not be displayed." The result is that no properties are displayed. Attempts to access the properties through the Windows Printer and Faxes window works normally.
