I've been using Adobe reader for years and up until version 7 everything was fine. I tried to upgrade to version 7 when it was launched and everythnig seemed to go ok. When I tried to launch after install however I got an hour glass for a fraction of a second and then nothing (nothing showing in task manager either). Strangely it worked fine in my XP guest account (I downloaded as an administrator). I tried repeatedly to download/re-install but to no avail. Eventually I gave up. I've just tried to download version 8 and the same has happened again. Guest account wasn't even active but it works fine in there. It was via the guest account that i was asked to accept the EULA. Any advice greatly appreciated as I'm stumped By the way my PC is: Win XP Home SP2, IE7, Mcafee internet suite
