Okay, here's the workaround.

Download Adobe Reader 8.0 from Adobe web site.

Run executable.

Navigate to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Netopsystems and find the setup.exe file. Run this file as administrator.

Adobe Reader 8.0 will now install.
