Jose, Tony and Col, I also have Adobe Reader 7.08. Whenever I open (view) a pdf file on the internet I always have exactly the same shutdown problem as described by Jose. Adobe has a serious problem with the new version, and I feel they should fix it via an update asap. We don't want to wait for the next version. Richard
