 Sorry you should Download the "Windows Installer Cleanup" run the program...select all versions of Adobe that you see and remove them all. Here is the site "http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Secure-cleaning/Windows-Installer-CleanUp-Utility.shtml,

Then follow the steps in the last post to remove adobe reader.

1. Click or double click on "My Computer"
2. Click or double click on the "local disk (C:)"
3. Click or double click on the "Program Files" directory.
4. Click or double click on the "Adobe" directory.
5. Right click on the "Acrobat 7." File and select delete.
6. Go to this site and down load Adobe Reader. "http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html"

You should'mt have a problem removing the file after that.
