I have a dozen times been informed that the Adobe Update Manager needs my attention, and when I follow the Update Managers request a file adbeRdr708_all_incr.exe gets installed, (so I'm told) and I am following being asked to reboot. However, my version number remains 7.0.7 (as before) and I can see no effect of the said Adobe file - except I have used a lot of my time on nothing. There is no error number anywhere, I just stay at the blank = gray Adobe page. And I can find no information whether I have to do some further installation on my own. Mike
