I can read most PDFs on my computer without any problems: however, I am having trouble reading some PDFs. They open up looking like a scrambling of strange symbols and marks. In an effort to get to the bottom of this dilemma, I decided to use the computer of a friend. On his computer I had no problem reading the same documents that had appeared scrambled on my computer. What am I missing? I have successfully downloaded the most current version of Adobe Reader from the Adobe website. Any advice? Can you please assist me with this issue? Thank you in advance, Robert
