Can't open Protected PDF "Incorrect username/password"

I just got a protected pdf document and when i click it it asks for my Adobe ID and password. I type in my Adobe Id and my password, and every time it says "Incorrect ID/password please retype" so I retyped and i retyped and of course it said the same thing every time. I called Adobe and they didn't know what to do. Is there any way I can open this document? Please help!
