I am evaluating the implications of updating our company's Reader version from 5.0.5 and 6.0.1 to version 8 when it comes out. Reader is installed on all PCs and there are a number of users with Acrobat installed as well. We currently have Acrobat 4, Acrobat 5, Acrobat 6 Standard and Acrobat 6 Professional in use. Will there be any compatibility issues with installing reader 8 on a PC with these versions of Acrobat? Will there be any issues with Reader 8 being able to view PDFs created in any of these Acrobat versions? We have a very large set of PDFs created in Acrobat 5 with indexes created in Acrobat 5 as well. Will Reader 8 be able to search for a retrieve files from these indexes? Thank you
