Our office has one license for Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 with the remainder of the computers having Adobe Reader 7.0.8.

1. We created a new PDF file and ensured that the commenting feature was enabled.

2. We clicked the "Send Document for Review" button to open the Email Review Dialog Box.

3. We selected the correct document.

4. We selected the review participants from the address book.

5. We ensured that "Also allow users of Free Adobe Reader 7.0 to participate in this review" was selected.

6. We sent the invitation to all participants.

This sent the following email to all individuals selected to participate.

Please review and comment on the attached document: PascoDSS_Status11202006.pdf. Adobe Acrobat 6.0 or later is required to participate in this review.

1. First, open the attachment.

2. Then, make your comments directly on the document by using the tools on the Commenting toolbar, and/or the tools available under the Comment & Markup button.

3. After you have finished making your comments, click the "Send Comments" button on the Commenting toolbar to email your comments to the requestor.

Unfortunately, when each participant opened the document, they were unable to access the comment toolbar. We tried opening the document through our email application, saving it to the hard disk then opening it, but each time we had the same results. Did we miss a step somewhere? Is there a known issue with the commenting feature of Acrobat 7.0? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
