What if I don't want another program running? I have just recently been working with a 400MB pdf, and when I closed acrobat it was still running 2 minutes later, still using 170MB of memory and 90%+ of CPU. I don't want to have to kill acrobat using task manager or another program. Why isn't there an option in the preferences to unload acrobat when it is closed?
