I am using an HP 2800 with Windows XP and Adobe Reader 9. My desktop acts as the network server for two desktops, my partner shares the printer and internet access through me. I cannot print any PDF files, I only get this ERROR: typecheck OFFENDING COMMAND: image STACK: 1.0 -mark- -savelevel- -mark- -savelevel- My partner has not upgraded Reader and is still on 7.0. I go over to his computer, open the PDF file and Voila it prints just fine. This sure seems to be an ongoing problem with version 9.0 and I'm pretty sick and tired of jumping through hoops to print something in what has supposedly become an industry standard file format. Glitches like this aren't going to impress me to purchase Adobe when I have other options. Any more ideas?
