Highlighted text area does not print highlight

When I print a page in Acrobat 7 that has a selection of text highlighted using the highlighter tool, the highlight color is not printed. It just prints the page normally as though there was no highlighting on the text at all.

How would I go about making sure the highlighting showed when printed?
