I tried to reload Adobe Reader 7.0.8 but got the following message � �This version of Adobe Reader is already present on your computer. Installation will now exit.�

I then tried to Delete Adobe reader 7.0.8 from my Laptop and got the following message � �This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installation patch package.�

I then selected �Update� from the XP�s Control Panel / Add or Remove Programs for Adobe reader 7.0.8. Rec�d the following Support Info Message � �Use the following information to get technical support for this update. Update ID: {2B257128-CB59-4A88-AFDF-BE12E5F5B9A1}�

I then tried to Delete all the Adobe files from the c: drive

I'm stuck!! I can't update or delete or install or re-install???
