I'm running WinXP SP2 Home edition with all patches installed. Every time I shut down or restart the system I get the following error message: sw: AcroRd32.exe - Application Error : The instruction at "0x24002d15" referenced memory at "0x24002d15". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program Click on CANCEL to debug the program Unfortunately, because the system is shutting down, the error message appears for only about a second, not long enough for me to click on CANCEL. I know what the error message says only because I found it listed in the Windows System Event Viewer. I've run Detect and Repair, but that hasn't helped. How can I debug the program or otherwise prevent the error message from popping up every time I shut down or restart my system?
