The Search engine changed in Acrobat 7, that's why you're seeing different results. Sometimes unfortunate results.
The 'Tagged PDF' option in the main file is set to 'Yes'.
That's a good thing.
Not knowing much (OK anything) about tagging, is this something that all
the individual PDF files would need to have set too?
Ideally, yes. Are thes all Acrobat-created PDFs?
