Hello, not being sure how to get this message to the Development team, I'm posting it here - please pass it on.

Dear Adobe Reader coder: You ROCK! Dude, I'm that one user that held on to Adobe 5.0 for years and didn't upgrade. That's because I didn't like the side panel that opened when you tried a simple search (ctrl+F) and didn't like the constant nagging trying to connect back to the mother-ship. Well, 7.0 did the trick for me. Besides restoring the simple text search prompt (and leaving the space for the actual PDF), 7.0 is WAY faster than any other version I've used before. It runs the program faster when you click on the icon, it loads pages faster, and it scrolls a lot faster too. I like the brain-dead simple text and graph selection tools. It now opens my default browser (Firefox) instead of only IE. On top of that, it's a free download. Nice!

Now, if we can all convince some of the magazine publishers out there trying to switch to other "smarter" viewers that it sucks when you can't take them on the road to read them offline, we'd be all set.
