We are an ASP that provides online fillable forms that open in browser. Changes made to the forms update to our servers.

We use Javascript in one section of one of our forms (yes/no checkbox) to give a user the option of hiding data in one section of the form. The user may also choose,using this same javascript Yes/No option, to display the data in this section of the form so that it is viewable and printable.

We have encountered an issue recently with Adobe 7.08/ Internet Explorer XP/SP2 users . The issue is that the user indicates YES (display the information) on the form. This causes the hidden information to become visible on the form onscreen but when they go to print the form, the printed version of the form leaves this section of the form blank. All other data (non java)prints correctly. If they toggle the Yes/NO option a few times they then are able to Print the complete form including the section of the form that uses this Java option.

This problem does not happen with all users it happens intermittently only with certain individuals. We have confirmed that the Javascript option is set correctly in Adobe Reader 7.08 within the edit/preferences menu.

Can anyone offer any suggestions or reasons this might be happening?
