I have a similar problem, in that in attempting to open a pdf file from a web-site/link ( Abbey), I get a message window 'file damaged & could not be repaired'. I have Windows xp AND ADOBE VERSIONS 4,6 &7. I haven't experienced this problem from their web-site until recently, and don't encounter any problems from other web-sites. Could the problem be at my end or theirs?
