I have a PDF for delivery on CD in which our client has asked for an enquiry form to be added on a certain page.

I have noticed that when I fill in the form and then submit or reset it before going on to search the document (using a catalogued index) the search returns results, but instead of the snippet of text found the list of results contains a warning about the PDF having changed since the index was created.

i.e. The document was modified and you will need to recatalog it.

The pdf is on CD [i.e cannot be written over] - so if I close the file and subsequently re-open it and complete a search - the resulting list shows the the correct lines of found text; so I'm pretty certain the form filling most be the culprit.

Ideally the form could sit in a file on its own but the client has asked for it to be included in the their catalogue pdf.

Has anyone else come across this and found away around the warnings?
