Hi all-

I am trying to upgrade my Adobe Reader 6.0.5 to 7.0.8 on a Mac G5 OSX 10.3.9 computer with 40GB free disk space. The download goes fine, but when I try to install I get to the last step and get a message in the installer window saying "There were errors installing the software." The output in the install log are:

The postflight script in DownloadReader7 failed.
Install Failed
Error detected
Name: NSGenericException
Reason: The postflight script in DownloadReader7 failed. (code 1)

I've re-downloaded the install several times in case there was a corrupt file, but the problem remains.

Any suggestions on how to fix the problem?

Thanks, Ray
