I was unaware that I was not eligible to post messages until now. Let me state my problem again.

I have Adobe Reader 7.0.7 installed. For the last week I have been unable to open any of my .pdf files. I checked on Upgrades and saw that version 7.0.8 was available and designated as 'Critical'.

I attempted to install 7.0.8 four (4) times without success. Everything looks normal during the installation, but 7.0.8 is not installed.

Product: Adobe Reader 7.0.7 and 7.0.8
Hardware: Dell 4500 Desktop
OS version: Windows XP Home Edition
RAM: 512 MB
