printing legal to multiple letter

I got a users manual that is 11x17, split into 4 sections per legal page, I printed it, but, it is hard to read, i would like to print it on 8 letter sized pages. it is password protected so.. I can't impot it anywhjere or prin/save as postscript HOW do I print it??? HELP! tell hypergraphics@comcast.net
