On my Win2K system at work I was running Adobe Acrobat Reader 6 and all the desktop icons were the Adobe ones. I recently upgraded on-line to Version 7.0.8 and all the .pdf file shortcut icons changed to the default Microsoft flag icons. What do you think happended? I uninstalled Everything in my comtrol panel having to do with Adobe, then reinstalled 7.0.8....but no change at all in the icons(still the generic Microsoft flag is how they all appear still on desctop and hard drive folders). Can I go into my registry and change something so the computer automatically shows Adobe Reader icons again as they used to be before I upgraded? thanks, if anyone knows how, please
