Ah, there is the problem. All his, even though he has the checked boxes selected to embed, is not being embedded. When the rest of us create them, they are embedded. After further discussion with him, he now feels it is a problem with him still using AV 9.0 or ESRI Mapbooks with the combination of Adobe.
