Text Search issue in Reader 9

I have one machine that has problems searching for text with Adobe Reader 9. It will find the wrong word or nothing. Other similar set up machines work fine on the same pdf. Uninstall and reinstall did not help. I uninstalled 9 and reinstalled 8 and that works.
Has anyone else run into this?
