hi-
I tried to uninstall my adobe reader version 7.0 but i keep getting an error message. the error is, "this patch package could not be opened verify the patch package exists and that you can access it....." i use windows xp and i used the control panel's, add/remove feature to uninstall the reader, but it wouldn't let me and just gave me that error message.

the reader is also not working right in either of my web browsers (that's why i wanted to uninstall it). every time i try to load a .pdf file, i get a blank page or the reader comes up but won't load the .pdf file. it is working offline however.

how can i uninstall the reader? i really don't want to use it at all anymore. cause i want to install version 8 anyway. thanks!!
