I have similiar problem. I downloaded Acrobat Reader 8.0 and now no Acrobat files print. I checked to see if I did not list my printer as the output device. I tried saving it and then printing directly from Acrobat. No luck. All my other programs can print. I just cannot print any Acrobat files.
