Based on many messages-I would strongly recommend that you completely uninstall ALL previous versions of Reader. This may seem extreme, but I am also saying that the best way to do it for Windows XP SP2 includes all Registry entries relating to Reader (only). Be warned that editing the Registry is done at your own risk! There are several programs that can help with the process, in addition to manual means. Do search the messages for answers by me, Grafiti and MarkATS.
