On my W98 system, I've got Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0.3 installed. Everytime I invoke Reader, I get a series of dialog windows in quick succession, the last stating "Please wait while Windows configures Adobe Reader 6.0.1". How might I stop this unnecessary and repetitious action? It is the same as Help > Detect and Repair being exercised. Note that with 6.0.3 installed, I don't need to configure previous version 6.0.1.
