Ok, I was having the same problem. Couldn't open bank statements. Tried downloading 8, then 7, for days to no avail..even called the bank, adobe, microsoft, boy they are all great help..NOT. Then I did a system restore back to v6. Still couldn't open my bank statements. Today, tried the whole thing over. Neither would open again. Uninstalled again..then I UNINSTALLED EXPLOYER 7. Reinstalled v6 of adobe and guess what. Yep, my bank statements opened just like they used to...Hope this helps someone. Took me days to figure out...Xployer 7 is the culprut.
