I've created a PDF that can display on the screen with no problems. however, when i try to print this pdf, i get the following error message:

ERROR: ioerror
OFFENDING COMMAND: image

-savelevel-

know the problem is with my .gif images, since the page prints all the page until the point where the image is supposed to appear.

with Version 8, i'm able to print the page, but Versions 6 & 7 can't. and because of the number of users on our system, i can't have them all upgrade to Version 8: it must work in V6 or V7.

can print the page if i check the "print as image" option in the Advanced printer settings, but again, because of the number of users on our system, i can't tell them all to click that option.

and i've tried multiple printers and multiple computers. same problem.

any help would be greatly appreciated. either with adobe or any ideas of why certain .gif files would not print correctly.
