I have Adobe Reader 7.0.9 installed on my XP SP2 computer. If I run Reader alone, and open "task manager" the AcroRd32.exe program is present. It is gone after I close Reader, as it should be! In all 3 of my browsers (Explorer, Firefox, SeaMonkey), if Reader opens in a window, then I close the browser, and I look in task manager, THE AcroRd32.exe PROGRAM DOES NOT STOP RUNNING! I can end the program manually, but if I do not, then, when I exit Windows, I get a warning that "Adobe Reader is still running and needs to close". Why doesn't Reader exit when I close my browser, like it does when I close the program by itself. Thanks in advance, Joe
