Kurt: This is the first major failure by Adobe that I am personally aware of. ALL previous versions of Adobe Reader have installed and run on our Win machines-without any problem at all. The fact is -they really goofed this time. As to your problem-please search the forum for messages that MarkATS, Grafiti and I have left suggesting several ways of solving the uninstall issue. It is not simple, but seems to work well. What is important is that you get ALL references to Reader out-and that means everything. Do that, download a fresh copy of Reader 8 to a folder you create (Mine is called Temp) and run the install from there. This should work.
