My Adobe Reader Ver.7.0 stopped working properly, so I tried to d/l 8.0. Like everyone else, I have to uninstall 7.0, but can't do it. I spent hours researching Adobe sites and trying to email someone, but failed to find a way to do that. I read in this forum where someone was told to uninstall/reinstall Windows. That is NOT an option for me! I can't believe a supposedly reputable firm like Adobe made a Reader available and cannot offer a "fix" for all these problems - very irresponsible! Gloria
