I am having the same problem since I installed IE7. I must have had an older version of Adobe Manager or Acrobat REader on my computer. I started the download of 20 mb but it looks like the old Adobe Manager file was wiped out by the download of IE7. Why are there no specific fixes for this? Is it just that most people require the most up to date Adobe. I use it at home strictly for personal use and did not see the need to keep updating for the amount of time I used it, did not cost justify. Do I now need to download Adopby Reader or Acrobat 8.0. What is the difference in these products. I would think I would have seen something educating the public on these products. It is most frustrating to non-professional users to have to muddle though all this techno babble to get back what we had. I think either your company or Microsoft could be more considerate. I have not found any solutin on the Microsoft website except references to problems with Vista and I have Windows XP Home edition. Could someone please point me in the right direction? I do not want any security breaches that I see referenced on some sites. Thanks.
