I Created several pdf X1a:2003 files in indesign cs2. Later, I tried to print the pdfs to another PC that only has Adobe reader 7. The colors that print have nothing to do with the colors as the look on the screeen or as they were soft proofed with the printer profile. How does adobe reader handle color profiles (since I'm talking about X1) how do I simulate output using a color profile. the advanced menu doesn't exist in adobe reader?? Is there a way to proof a document using acrobat reader or do I have to buy acrobat pro???
