Hi there,

I too, am having serious CPU usage issues with the new version 8. I don't know enough about memory leakage, but I can tell you that anytime Reader opens and downloads anything, my CPU usage goes through the roof - 100%. I look at my Processes tab, and "AdobeReader.exe" is the culprit. My computer is rendered useless at this point. The only way to correct the situation is to "End Process" for this entry. This last time I tried it, TWO entries for "AdobeReader.exe" were listed - both taking about equal share of 100% of my CPU usage. When I clicked on one to "End Process", the remaining one now had 100% usage.

Any idea what's going on and how we can fix this?

Regards,

Karla
