Questions:
Have both Acrobat 6.0 Professional and Adobe Reader 7.0.9 on my Windows PC.... Prefer using Adobe Reader 7.0.09 as opens file to be read very quickly.... Acrobat takes time to download first.

But need Acrobat 6.0 Professional to download PDF data to files to be used in Excel.. Would copy PDF data to word document... Then save as a text file.. Then open text file in Excel and format data.

1)Problem, how to choose which program to open file??
How does one set which is the default program to open when trying to read a file?

2) When I installed Acrobat 6.0 Professional, it became the default program to read a PDF File.
Then this week I must have downloaded a newer version of Adobe reader and that became the default program to read a PDF File.
Can both reside on computer at the same time and allow me to set one or the other as the default reader??

Making me nuts...

Perhaps I have to uninstall and reinstall Acrobat 6.0 Professional and leave that as the default ... if that will work.

Any suggestions???'
