Same here... Reader 8 simply refuses to print on my Mac running OS 10.4.8.
It does OK on my Windows XP.

Symptom:
The File->Print either has no action whatsoever, or it gives a warning "This
document cannot be printed.". It does not close out anything, though.

I tried to print through network printers, more than one of them. None was
successful. I tried different documents, too. I can print from any other
applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, TextEdit, etc.)
