I tried "Unlocker" it took the icon away, but when I reboot it's right back. It seems the real problem is I can't delete certain things. When I right click on icons on my desktop or in my taskbar instead of getting a menu option like: open, send, delete, etc, my hourglass pops up,stays for about 15 seconds, then resets my desktop and taskbar. This is also a problem in my Start>All Programs listing.
The programs listed with just an icon (not the folder)I can't right click on them anymore with out resetting my desktop & taskbar.I run
McAfee AV and a scan has not come up with any viruses. I've run "Reg Cure" and it said it fixed alot of problems, but I still have this one. I also ran "SFC /scannow" and no errors showed up.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
ghpr57
