I have some documents that were scanned and saved as pdf 5. My client has requested that all files be sent to them as pdf 7. I just don't see the difference. If I send them a pdf, and they open it in Adobe 7, then isn't it the same? I am not aware that there is a difference between a 'pdf 5' and 'pdf 7'. I thought the file is simply a pdf, and whatever version you open it in, then that is the version you have.

So I thought, if there IS a way to convert, the only way I could think is to open the file in 7.0 and then 'save as'. Then after it was saved in 7.0 it is a 7.0 file??? I have NO idea!!! lol

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
