I have noticed that installations of Adobe Reader v8 for Windows 2000 are different when you run them manually (i.e. double-click the AdbeRdr80_en_us.EXE file) than when it is installed via the command line. This is the command I am using: AdbeRdr80_en_US.EXE /sPB /rs /rps /msi"ALLUSERS=TRUE EULA_ACCEPT=YES SUPPRESS_APP_LAUNCH=YES" One of the things I noticed was that the OPEN command for PDF file types appear as this: "AcroRead32.exe" "%1" when installed via the command line but it has this when it is manually installed: "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" "%1" This leads me to believe that somehow these 2 installations are different. Maybe it's a problem with the command line switches? Any ideas?
