I had both Acrobat 5 and 7 on my computer. I believe that after an update to the Acrobat 7.0 (it became 7.0.8 at some point) I was no longer able to print to the .pdf file. I uninstalled 7 and am now using 5 (which also used to work, but also now is not). Perhaps its the Port configuration. I do not know what it was or what it should be to be able to print, but as of now when I have Acrobat Distiller as the printer the Port config is 'C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop\.*pdf'. Do you have any idea of what I could change it to to make it work? When I try to 'Save as .pdf file' during the plot (print) command, the message comes up saying: "An error was found when printing to document "____" to c:\Documents and Setting\All Users\Desktop\.*pdf". I am lost as to what to try to remedy this. Thanks for any suggestions!!!
