I'm having the same issue, it makes the document almost impossible to read. I detest having to close the bookmarks EVERY time I open a document. I have full Acrobat, but mainly use the reader. I don't see any 'Initial View' capability - where would it be? If nothing else is there a way to move/copy the 'close bookmark' command to the highest level so I don't have to slog through multiple levels to close it with every document I view?
