I was working in Windows XP and I was notified that there was an upgrade to my Adobe reader and would I like to install it. I said yes and it said it was removing the old version. After it removed the old version it was installing the new version and I was informed that it could not complete the upgrade because it could not find my old 7.0.5.msi file (which I never had!). I look at the version number when I start the reader and I am told it is version 7.0.8 and the program locks up. When I go to remove the current reader (7.0.8) I am informed that it could not find my old 7.0.5.msi file. I also tried system restore without any success. How can I repair this. I have Microsoft XP, Version 2002 with Service Pack 2 Neal smatyniak@charter.net
