Windows Xp Pro.. fully patched and up to date.

I run several antivirus and anti-malware programs weekly, and of course, keep them up to date with the latest updates and sig files. And I am also behind a hardware firewall. I am very security conscious.

I am using IE 7.0 No, I have not uninstalled/reinstalled acrobat.

I should say that I have 3 computers here, and all are up to date. The latest one, the Intel Core 2 Duo, is relatively new, and in fact, I am just loading up software on it, including Adobe products - so there is not a heck of a lot on it yet.

And just today, I went to read a PDF file, and was advised that there were FOUR updates (7.06 through 7.09) waiting to be installed for Acrobat reader. After download all of them, it proceeded to install them - one at a time.. and after each one I had to reboot to resume the installation of the remaining updates.

At the very least, Adobe should make these updates cumulative.. so that we only need to install the last one, not each one in sequence!

The point is that Adobe has released NINE updates recently for this product (7.01 to 7.09).. that is just too much! People have other things to do besides constantly update software because of sloppy programming.
