I'm receiving this error message "Cannot use Adobe Reader to view PDF in your web browser. Reader will now exit. Please exit your browser and try again." I'm helping our accounting department with trying to retrieve some W-2 information off of a CD. The payroll company at the time used this program called Alchemy to interface with the disc. You have to use Alchemy to find the .pdf on the CD; searching the CD didn't turn up any .pdf's that I could find. When we use Alchemy to find the file, the program instructions tell you to highlight the .pdf which will then open it. When I do this, Adobe Reader starts to open and I get the error message. I've updated the Reader 1.0.9, and installed the latest IE 7.0. I'm getting this message on two different computers. I'm not sure what to try next. Any help would be much appreciated!
