Whenever I re-boot my computer, I get a message that windows can't find the file "C:\program files\NOS\bin\getPlus_HelperSvc.exe". I have looked in windows explorer, and that path/file does not exist. I found the registry entry that causes this attempt to load, and eliminated it, but something keeps replacing it. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Try msconfig or Startup Inspector <http://www.windowsstartup.com/startupinspector.php> to remove the entry from the startup processes.

I use Shampoo Startup Tuner, and there is an entry in the "run once" section that lists "Uninstall getPlus(R) for Adobe", and as soon as I clear the check mark and close the program, when I reopen it, there is an added entry just like it and it has a check mark in it. So something is monitoring the registry entry, and when it is deleted or changed, it changes is back. I don't know what that process is or how to find it.

What I would try in your situation is a repair install of your Adobe Reader version. From Add/Remove Programs select Adobe Reader, then click on change. From here run a repair install, then reboot. This may - hopefully - clear the situation (by running getPlus once). P.S. before you reboot, make a backup of that folder C:\Program Files\NOS
