Sorry I didn't get to this one earlier. I took most of the week off to try to sort out various non-work things. Anyway, try something like this:

Rem Set the measurement units to millimeters

myDocPreferences.PageWidth = 253

I'd also note that you need to pare down your example code to just the issue that you're having trouble with, and remove the parts that have to do with your user interface. Very few of the posters have time to dig through a long listing, and the UI stuff just gets in the way of showing the problem you want to show. 

Alan Stearns always gets after me for giving him 20 lines of code to demonstrate an error when all he needs is the one that fails!<g>
